Unfortunately my baby never sleeps in the garage :(. Thats his parking spot. One of these days.....

So since Josh told me to update in here for him, I will do so. I got home from therapy and wetsanded them again. There was a couple little pinholes so I decided it best to put some more surfacer on them, especially because of the divets from the filler.

Here they are before the surfacer:

One of the little shits that pissed me off:

Curing, which is why they appear two different colors, they are in the drying process. I literally finished them less than 30 minutes ago and it takes a full hour before you can sand them. By tomorrow they'll be all nice and cured, ready to be wetsanded and based/cleared.

Time to go make some steak!!!!!

Unless this damn rain, hail, intense winds and nonsense stops I won't get anything done on them today.

LOL Paint for hire, I have a feeling those taillights are going to attack me.

New headlights came in yesterday, so I popped those bad boys in and gave my stockers to the girlfriend. Now I just need to wetsand her headlights down to get rid of the yellowing/fogging so you can actually see at night.

Wish I had $825 right now.... coilover group buy over at cobaltss.net and I'm broke. :( I need to worry about steelies more than anything... *sigh* Stupid lack of money.

Random note, been driving my car to work everyday since the girlfriends neon is having troubles, and i've been averaging 29mpg with mostly highway driving at 80mph. Not too bad.

Dropped the car off at the dealership FINALLY to get the damn bumper fixed after a month and a half of waiting.... They should also be changing my oil to full synthetic and rotating the tires for me because i've been sitting around waiting for this shit for so long. Supposedly I'll get the car back today... we'll see though.

I need more money for car parts. *sighs*
Haven't heard from Crystalmarie in awhile either.... i wonder where she went off to

None taken LOL I hobbled into my backyard last night to paint them. It was the ONE day in the past two weeks that there was no rain in the forecast. I get them finished...15 minutes past clearcoat and it DOWNPOURS. Theres little circle dents in them now and I have to re-clear them. I have pictures but I'm on a temporary internet because after the hail/tstorm we had two days ago our transformer got affected. No full internet until Monday. :(

They WERE done....stupid fucking rain.

Sad face. :( *kicks rain*

At least I'm in no hurry for 'em.

Update from the dumbass dealership... The new management said that, because there are scratches on the rear bumper, the headlights and taillights have been taken off (no shit, I had them painted.) they have reason to believe that the car has been in an accident, and that the bumper wont be covered under warranty.

So, a month and a half ago, they said they would do it under warranty no problem. They couldn't find any visible signs of damage. It was stock then, 100% completely stock. The only reason I didn't have it done at that time, is because I needed a loaner car and they were having troubles getting one. I got ran around a few times, but whatever, they promised me a free synthetic oil change and tire rotation, on paper. Fast forward to now, under new management, they deny the claim....

Whatever. I got my car back, they did indeed change the oil for me. I wrote on the rims what tire was what, to see if they DID rotate them or not, and they just rubbed the dirt off the front... so I have no idea if they actually did that part.

Needless to say, I wont be going back there, and I'll just fix the bumper my own damn self. I wouldn't of cared if they told me no from the get-go, but this shit just got old quick. Oh well, free oil change for me at least.

They look good, yes. But I have serious OCD and even though you can BARELY see the little circles, they irritate me and must be removed. Ha ha. I'll head down to the supply store and pick some up hopefully tomorrow. I have to pick up a few things from there for Brodie before he gets to RI anyhow.
