This guy is starting to sound more and more like a duct-tape mechanic than anything. What a joke! I can't believe no one has had this much trouble with him before!Mr Josh Zombie wrote:there's no way i'm driving my fucking car anywhere now. jesus christ i can't believe it was cracked that badly.
SS/SC Project Log: pictures of the fun stuff
LOL! Wow! If his wife seriously thinks peeling out on a small gravel-patch driveway is gonna put that big of dents and scatches in a car door then my car would be fucked!
I wanna hear more from Jeremy. The sides are too biased right now.

and i want both sides of the story to be heard. i have to keep telling myself i'm doing the rational thing.
and i didn't peel out. i drove away spiritedly, because he had told me to. there was no burning rubber. yes, gravel got kicked up. that's doesn't put vertical scratches and a penny sized dent in my door near the handle though.
and my girlfriend did indeed tell me at the time she may have misunderstood his wife, but wasn't sure at the time. when i toled jeremy about it on the phone, all he said was she was PMSing and he wont even go talk to her right now.
All i want:
-New bell housing
-New oil pan
-Anything that has the mounts broken off replaced
-New covers for my computer plugs
-The damn clunking looked into
Shit that was broken. I want it fixed. Simple as that. On another note though, seems the clutch does indeed work. Feels a bit weird, but, it's not stock and i haven't driven the car in a month and a half.

Well...
1). It's great you've got your car back. As you said, it was almost to the point that you missed it.
2). SHITTY the way they ran the shop, lack of care (they forgot how powerful word of mouth is), and extra crap they broke on the car.
3). You've now got to go out of your way to hire someone to make sure you're car gets back to where it should be. It's a little more money on your part, but waaay cheaper than paying to fix everything they busted.
4). ??? Drive me your 1gn, and I'll buy the Cobalt while you're here.

the only thing i have any intention on keeping when i sell the car is my stereo. the speakers have been through 3 cars now and i love my indash to much to give it up.

As long as there is some sort of audio device in there, and at least 2 speakers, I'm cool with it.
And I wish so much that I was being 100% serious. I could probably get my mom in for a co-sign and legitimately buy your cars, but IDK how I'd be able keep up payments after a few months. Either way....I still want your 1gn for mah daily.

STOOOOOPPPPP making me wanna start punchin' out numbers and approach my mom. It's a very reasonable goal, too.
I'd love to help you out so you could get your Scion. Ha, I want one too!
Until I can make a legit offer on your stuff, I wish you luck with it while you have it
I really wish I could swing it. I'd be up there next weekend.

So you guys can believe me on the condition of my car. Anyone wanting to come look at it themselves is glad to come on over. First few pictures are me trying to get a shot of the penny sized dent from when he hit my door against the pole. My girlfriend was there and will testify that she saw it happen.
Body:

Engine:

(not much is ran properly)

(after switching the computer around, this plug was hidden under the CAI. I pull it out and see it's completely missing)

(bottom plug is broken in half, hard to see)

(missing bolt)

(this is loose. it should not be loose)

(my injector wire doesn't just sit there… it routes a certain way)

(should be attached to the fire wall so it doesn't hit the header… it's not attached)

(should be attached behind the fuse box)

(obviously not even attached right)
On top of all of this, my AEM wire needs re-ran because it was kinked and broken on the inside, the interior smells BADLY of gasoline, and my driver side strut is making clunking noises. Obviously I can't hoist the car up and look at the oil pan or transmission, but from what I hear from anonymous sources, it's pretty bad.
Bonus dog bite, just for proof:

It's an open log in. The password was given out a few pages ago so anyone could go view the thread.
Although there wasn't SUPPOSED to be any posting.
Oh, and I'll say this as well, Every page from the day my clutch burnt out to current will be printed out as well for the lawyers. Nothing you guys have to worry about, but I just wanted to state it openly.
