Instrument Cluster Functionality

Post by yellowpatrol » Wed Apr 23, 2008 11:30 pm

I feel like this has already been answered, but I swear I used the search and nothing turned up. Forgive me if it's a repeat question!

1) Is the SRT cluster necessary / required for the swap?

2) Is the mileage of the car recorded directly to memory in the cluster, or is it recorded to the PCM, and outputted to the cluster?

Nope :D

and it is recorded onto the cluster memory not the PCM
but i do believe the mileage is recorded there as well.

That must make it hard to keep track of miles on the engine and tranny.

Not like this thread was a year and a half old or anything.
