I cant get over the fact that the douche welded his rear doors shut.

Welding the rear doors doesnt make your car a coupe. It makes it a Sedan with Welded rear doors. IDIOT!

The engine setup is cool, but WTF is up with that hood? Welded rear doors? Straight up ghetto.
02 base -> 05 SRT ACR -> 96 sedan -> 99 R/T coupe -> 02 R/T -> 03 SRT

APC hood vents crappily molded to the hood, welded rear doors, a turbo setup that dcr basically threw away after they found out how inefficient it was, and an ugly ass front end...

To each his own, but he must like ugly cause the chick in the first pic sure isnt a looker.

This is the second type of front fascia i have seen before but i think i like the one on this white neon better. Don't like the hood on either of these though.

Ford is also looking to downsize many of their engines (no more V-8) and turbo them to create extra power as well. It all has to do with the upcoming emissions regulations.

God those Grills look terrible, and simply out of place on a neon!

I dont get the point of it either, sure it may be "custom", but trying to make a neon have a lux-o front end is just goofy, and to top it off with hideous non-functional hoods... i just dont get it...lol:tardbang:

I give him props for being original however, Whats the point of twin turboing the neon. Hes putting down around 300 hp but the srt-4 puts down about 240?...ive seen srt-4s dyno in at well above 500hp on the dyno so really he has a twin turbo thats as fast as a single turbo? Kind of a waste of time but w.e makes you happy

The car is unique. wich i give him props on. Welding the rear doors is retarted. I still dont see the point in doing all that work to back it with an ATX. The grill would look nice would better if it wasnt so effin big. looks way out of place

He sound probably around 300 at 7 psi (<-- on two turbo's).... I've read alot about DCR's twin turbo kit and it's the real deal. It's expensive and many question the need for 2 turbo's but I don't think anyone can deny that it is making some serious power with 2 stock turbo's (correct me if I'm wrong).

From what I hear, the 500 hp range is entirely within reach. So don't dog on it too bad. If Darrell Cox is involved it probably is the real deal....

If you mean the 135i its avaiable for purchase already its almost as fast as the M3 and about 32Gs

Yea i knew that. But the way the car is looking it looks more like its headed towards the show circuit than a drag strip.

If its gonna be a show car, he should probably get real coilovers instead of those sleeves on stock struts with the spring perch still attached.
