which springs?

Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

which springs?

Post by supertrick_05 » Thu Jul 21, 2005 10:16 pm

Ok, here's a few pics of my car with my new wheels (17" Konig Reasons and Cooper tires)

Now, I want to drop it with some springs, but I'm not sure which ones I should get. I want a nice drop that will lower the car and give it a good stance, but also still ride semi-decent and not like it's a friggin school bus. Got any pointers? Thanks!

um i put stock 1st gen non r/t acr springs on mine..got a 2.25" drop..and it rides decent but not great..i know alot of ppl say to go with the 1st gen rt/acr springs or eibachs (1.8 drop)

or u can just go all out and get coilovers.. coilovers are def alot stiffer and will be bumpyer depending on which brand u buy
hmmmmm

I would say go with Tein S-Tech springs or progress springs. They will give you a very even drop and the s-techs i have in my car still offer a fairly good right quality.

If you don't want your struts to go bad very soon, get the SRT-4 or the 1st gen r/t springs. But if you want a big drop go with the eibach and some tokico struts or w/e they are called.
