Painted Calipers - Getting outside pad on
Painted Calipers - Getting outside pad on
I just painted my calipers and am also replacing the rotors/pads. I have one question though - Is there any way to get teh outter pads onto the calipers without scratching the paint on the caliper?

very carefully
might take a few hands or just spray some of the paint into a paper cup and use it for touch up.

I ended up using 2 pairs of needle nose pliers to pull the "prongs" on the pad back and slid it on with teh caliper resting on my knee. First attempt (pass. side) got a couple small scratches, touched them up w/ some paitn. Second attempt (driver side) got on perfect with no scratches!
