anyone seen these on a car? the picture on the site looks makes me hesitant about the rim but i'm just wondering if anyones seen them? its the lip that makes me wonder

Those rims are the ones I have given lots of consideration too (the machined face/black ones). I once tried to google them to see if any Neons were running them, but I only found this thread on a miata forum:
