Doesn't a 2000 LX have the speed limiter set at 118 like all other Neons (non R/T, non SRT4)? So unless you've unhooked the speed sensor and have no clue how fast you're going. The other possiblilty is that you have a different computer from a different car which would be something quite difficult to do, and you don't exactly sound like somebody who is too intelligent.

I'll put agrand up on my srt-4 with a bit of work that I can beat your pants off spinning 3rd on street tires on a cold track. Hell, I'll even shortshift first and miss 3rd for ya. Cause even doing that I run mid-14's in the quarter, chucklefuck. Oh yeah, fyi, 1/8 mile is gay for street cars and pointless for anything other than sandrails, where a 1/4 is too dangerous.

(mods, I only called him a name to see if he calls me out, I might be going to mid-Texas this summer and I like taking side-trips)

I'm trying to help you out. This is not going to end unless you provide some kind of proof. What is so hard about taking a picture of how it is setup? I kind of curious to see how the intake is setup and such, but that is the kind of person I am. I like things to be done differently, but I don't like it when someone tries to blow smoke up my ass.

If we don't have a clue, how about you give us a clue. We are here for the benefit of the community. If you have some new fangled way to make a boat load of power show it off, brag about it, but do so with pictures and dyno charts. Nothing is real until that is seen.

Preston, you do know that the SS Cobalt IS actually S/C and that it can (almost) hang with stock SRT4's?

I am not into e-thugging, so I will put this politely. I am super happy that you have a set-up on your car that no one else has, but I am curious as to how it works. Even a member on here (JRM) who swapped and SRT motor with a mildly built trans is only putting down sub 200hp to the wheels.

I find it difficult to believe that your N/A Neon ATX is capable of beating some of the vehicles you claim it does.

Feel free to PM me pics of your set-up, or at least some details if you don't feel comfortable posting them for everyone to see...

For someone who has no idea what he's running he sure talks alot. I especially like the fact that he runs a 12 sec 1/8 mile, which is apparantly faster than a stock SRT-4

PS:Why the heck would someone swap out the 4g63 from a talon GSX ( which I would imagine he meant TSI, Im pretty sure mitsu's were GSX) which is (220hp stock) for aparantly a FWD converted SOHC neon engine swap...
