Those bubbles are normal when you remove the side mouldings...

My R/T didnt have any bubbles when I removed the side moldings. I didnt use heat to remove them though.

Neither did I. The bubbles are from the area between the two strips of adhesive. There isn't enough airflow for the paint to cure properly, so it bubbles. It's actually very common.

Interesting fact. Tomorrow after I detail it I'll let it sit in the sun.

Good luck, but that's from a pro painter/neon enthusiast on another forum, she's seen it a lot, and the only real way to fix it is to repaint the door. Sorry to be the one pissing in your cheerios...

Car still looks awesome, BTW!

I understand, but we'll see what I can get out of it. Theres always a chance of a respray down the road anyway... would love to make it the blue my old neon was.. with some more flake.

If I had known that....... I would have never taken off my side moldings. I'm glad I was and ignorant fool thinking that the bubbles were tiny if I had any at all. I was very fortunate not to have any issues at all.

Those bubbles are not what I thought of when people were talking about bubbles........ wow. (great photo skills there kid)

I hope you can get them resolved as it's a shame that your beautiful R/T has any imperfections at all.

I love your car even still man. Even with the bubbles. It's still hot. Don't paint it blue.

Dude, why the fuck would you drop it more? It's TOO low IMO. If you wanted to get super low, you shoulda went with air. I think you should leave it like it is, but bring the ass up a 1/2", maybe a lil more.

na i have to dissagree with supertrick, i think lower the better, becarefull tho if you ride with it too low to much i think it could make the coil go bad quicker, the only opinion i have is to put some nice clean 17 or 18's on it. im not a fan of stock wheels. you have a show worhthly car and if u have stock wheels it just makes it look like you cant afford wheels.

You guys gotta understand I'm around VW people all the time... ;) This is nothing compared to them, hah. Air is not an option or me, I don't want a big ass compressor in my trunk etc/ plus the performance aspect of coilovers is great. Being low on them doesn't nessecarily damage them, it just makes them more prone to damage etc, besides I'll have the car jacked up for winter anyway. There are plenty of local SRT's slammed on BC's and Megans and they haven't had probs. I'll be updating in the picture section, check itttt.

You may be with the VW people, but the Neon is FAR from them! Damn VW-wannabe...

Just won a Chrysler Emblem off Ebay for 11 bucks! It was for the 300 M, but the dimensions are the same, so we'll see. So for the grill + emblem I got it all for 36 dollars. :D

I was in a serious wreck(flipped end over end at 100+mph) a few years back and now Ive got serious back problems. The slammed ride and low profile tires made the ride real bad!

AVS for the FTMFW! Thats what I really wanted but I dont have the money.

By the way, Im a big VW fan as well. Ive been blowin $100 a year on my PVW magazine subscription for awhile. I love the Euro style! So much cleaner than our AmericanRiceMobiles!

Lol, tonight I was bored and went out to take a couple of pictures. Went under this desolate underpass and shot a few. It was pretty dark so I didn't really read any of the graffiti that was there.

Then I started editing this picture:

LOL!

That's all that turned out good really..

Also, I have an interview at MedCo Health Solutions for "Senior Account Coordinator". My brother set me up with it cause he wants me to work there. The best part though... if I get it I start at 40 K a year.... my only bills are my car payment. Which means, ohmygosh that's a lot of money for car mods. My interview is on Thursday. So we'll see.

Your car is pure sex. It just needs that damn Chrysler emblem.

I am going to be searching around in your thread about the Type R lip on the 02 r/t bumper correct? I might be swapping my fronts with a dude who has a 02 r/t. He did the go ahead. Just waiting on me. I would love to do the lip mod on it!
