SRT Design front bumper? (dealers are stupid!)

I just went to the dealer to find out if they can order the SRT Design bumper and they said that the SRT-4 bumper is the same thing. I didn't wanna argue with him, so I said the hell with it. Do I have to go to Mopar directly? I mean, if someone with an SRT Design mucks up his front bumper, where does he get a replacement? And I checked the price from the dealer and the SRT-4 bumper was $470, which isn't bad at all, but I don't want that bumper.

Where can I get an SRT Design front bumper? I just ran into a god damn cement base for those lights in the dealer lots and scratched the fuck out of it. I have a stock SXT bumper, which I hate anyways, so why not get the SRT Design? And how much can I expect to pay for it? Let me know. Thanks!

I got one, LOL. Um, howell automotive has one. It's called the Miss COnception Front bumper. Might also try the Dodge Dealership.

the SRT Design bumper cover is only available through mopar. the piece that howell sells is a fiberglass replica of the front bumper from the 2002 SRT-4 Concept.

the dodge srt-d front fascia is super expensive. Get one from howell

I tried to talk to the dealer, but the parts guy was really dumb....he said that the SRT-4 bumper was the same thing and I showed him pictures in the brochure. He didn't believe me, so whatever. I just wanna find one damnit! I wanna talk to someone who knows what the fuck I'm talking about!

to be honest the oem bumpers are almost as brittle as fibgerglass. I would just go with the bumper from howell. I already have an srt front here but im going to scrap it and go with one from howell too.

The Howell bumper has the lower lip similar to the SRT-4 and then it wouldn't match the rest of my car and I'd have to get sideskirts and a rear bumper. That's why I want the SRT-Design, because it will match the rest of the car and will not be lower than the sides and rear. Otherwise, I'd be all over the Howell front, but I think I'd rather get the Kaminari "VIPER" front (has the actual '05 Viper mouth replicated pretty well), but then again, I'd have to get the rest of the kit, so no. I will not rest till I find an SRT-D front!

ok here's what you do...1st get a vin# from someone that has a car that came with the bumper/parts you want 2nd find a different dealer and tell him what you want and tell him/her you have a vin#. I work at a bodyshop and order parts all the time. I had to give vin# for srt just to get SRT rear struts. As for the cost not sure. Get me a vin and I can find out if no one will help you.

Well the SRT-4 bumper from Mopar is $470, so nothing more than that.

as you see its black so you would still have to get it painted and it is on the car... i'm currently trying to get a home equaty loan, if it goes through, i'll be gettin a full body kit.

I already covered this in another chapter....First the SRT-4 and the SRT-D hoods are the same with a $900+ price tag, as for the front FASCIA the srt-4 and D ARE in fact different.....
