video camera

i managed to get a camera for my car, but i have no idea as to where to install it...its an interior camera with a microphone. originally i was planning to put it somewhere where i could se my little girl in the car...her car seat is right behind my drivers seat, or should i put it way in the front by the rearview mirror and try to get as much of the interior at once?

any ideas?

Yeah man. I think if you wanna get her in the back seat you should try to mount it somewhere on the dash maybe. I don't know how "permanent" you want it....but maybe some stick on stick off Velcro would do the temporary trick.

Any other suggestion would be the mirror idea. Just play with the angles and get the right one....as far as the rig.....that's more up to you. GOod luck though.

i think by the mirror would be the best spot probably...even though it might look tacky

Do you have a sunroof?
If not, mount it in or around your dome light...

yeah, i do have a sunroof, but i'm thinking i'm gonna put it right around the switch and the mirror... somewhere in that small area.

How big of a camera is it?
I know there is some SPY cams that the camera its self is about the size of a dime.....or atleast the lens itself is about the size of a pencil eraser head...

the lens is more like the size of a penny... but the rest of the body is about an 1/2-3/4 of an inch squered.
