shifter leds

i know there are write ups on the cluster and the HVAC but how would i go about changing the light in the shifter ( i have an ATX) or just what sizr LEDs do i need and ill just tinker around down there until it gets done

Same size led that goes into the cluster, just take you center console out and then you can pull the bulb out of the bottom side of the shifter bezel.

There is no LED. Its 1 small bulb. I dont know the size though

Its a 194 bulb, i didn't mean an led.

Take out the armrest and everything. You will see the base of it under the shifter. Don't be afraid to get some plyers and yank it out. It takes some force to get it out.

sorry to bring up an old thread, but I figured there was no need to start a new one. I was just curious what type of 194 LED people have used in the gear selector with good success? WLED? Inverted cone?

also, what type of LED would work for the defroster button?
