I am sure he had full coverage on it knowing the price of the vehicle. OR that would be pretty dumb. My jaw literally dropped too when I saw those pictures. You should of ran over the damn deer, but you had no idea what was about to happen...

Yea well my neon is breaking down and im not about to spend the $ to fix it b/c well it needs about 5-6k in work and well its only worth 2k... on a good day.... :-/ wonderful.... and Yea I'm glad i got out ok and yes I had full coverage but the insurance company is being very reluctant to pay me anything over what "they see" it is worth... so yea....

How the hell can they see what it's worth in those shots? What assholes. Insurance companies constantly try to weasel their way out of paying for things they should which is cruel because that's what you pay them for.

If I had a choice, with cars of this value, I wouldn't ever have insurance. If I ever hit anything, just pay for it myself - which I do. The only reason to have insurance on Neons is just in case you hit a BMW or something. Other than that, they'll always just fuck you.

That might be the most tarded thing you've ever said. If you have the right insurance you're golden, my insurance hasn't fucked me at all with the past two incidents I've been through. Then again I pay for customization insurance.

Insurance has nothing to do with hitting a BMW, it's about covering your ass and your assets in case something should happen.

i have been in one accedent before, hit a s10 blazer head on in a jeep wrangler. i have statefarm... i will keep state farm till i no longer drive.... this is why..... they gave me ABOVE blue book value on my jeep... the jeep was mint.. with only about 40k on it... six years old..... i also had a check for the car, two weeks after my accedent....

the insurence company means alot when it comes to having the accedent and getting things taken care of fast..

ps medical bills was over 100k for the guy i hit.... u going to pay for that out of pocket???

Well yea, if the car is totaled, of course you're fucked, but just for standard stuff like hitting deer I'd rather cover it myself. And yes, it does matter if you hit a BMW because they cost more. Covering my own ass is fine, the only thing I'd worry about having insurance for is hitting someone else.

Uhm, my co-worker hit a deer, and paid 2g's to replace her bumper, paint it, radiator, 2 fog's, and one headlight.

I don't just have 2g's laying around. Do you?
