Wow, if you had a hard time with that stuff, you might want to leave your suspension work to a pro. Other than sidemarkers and tail lights, it doesnt get much easier than some bushings and a shifter. Those installs are the only things I've done to the srt that havnt included profanity.

well it was the installation that was hard.. i just had a hard time with the clips and the bushings till i fifgured out the easyway to do it. if i absoultly had to do it again it would take no time at all.. and the fluid was hard for me because i didnt have a good hose to feed it to the fill plug nor did have the right sive funnel.. im worried too that i didnt get enough tranny fluid in there.. i guess i got probably two quarts in and it started to spill out the fill plug so i just capped it off.. i guess thats right...

That Fluid level should be fine. I just did mine (same trans, though on a first gen) and it really wasn't that bad with the right tools. I agree with the above poster about doing your suspension. I've done mine twice already and will do it again in about a month. It's labor intensive but also like riding a bike and really reduces the time it takes the second time around.

Don't shy away too soon or you'll end up paying easily twice as much for any modification you do just to have a "Mechanic" sign off on it. Use common sense and refer to anyone with actual hand-on car experience you or a friend may know and you'll be fine. The orgs a big help too!

?? The clips holding the shifter cables to the shifter base? Vise grips are your friend, off and on. Hit themwith a small hammer to get them back on LOL. I think I underestimate the little tricks I learn having donemechanical work since sophmore year of high school.

Yeah, a BFH never hurt anything that couldn't be replaced by a Junk Yard...

When I did the mopar shifter the longest part of the operation was me washing the center console while it was out. If you thought that sucked, stay away from suspension work on these cars.
