Drag Wheels.

Post by Canada » Tue May 20, 2008 9:06 pm

Ok guys,

bear with me, I know this is more of a 1GN question, but there is alot more traffic here, and I like you guys.

My 1GN looks like this now:

I really like the sleeper look with the hubcaps, so I want to find a 14x6" steel wheel to run on it, but I want to know how wide a slick I could run...

I know alot of guys run 24.5x8x14 on stock R/T 1GN wheels, and those are 6" wide I thought...

I am down to two options,

A) 24.5x8x14 MT Drag Slick

OR

B) 215/60/14 BFG Drag Radial

Ideas, Suggestions all??

GM early cavalier rims and crap are 14x6. I'm running 20x6x14 on a 6" rim. They work, but lose air.

Jerry's slicks are just a tad on the old side.

an 8" wide slick on a 6" wide wheel sounds good, especially with 5" of sidewall.
