$10,000 to $15,000...

Post by LowNSlow » Fri May 23, 2008 7:00 am

What car would you buy and why?

No SRT-4s.... or regular Neons. (yes I know I am asking on a Neon forum)

It can be modified but if it is.. no half assed stuff.

I'm browsing for what I want when I get back... and I am just not sure.

Scion TC MTX (cheapest, but good base to Mod)

Corrolla XRS 2.4 MTX (very nice car)

2008 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS MTX (my favorite)

Honda Accord v6 Coupe MTX (if you have more money).

I'm going to respond to peoples suggestions... don't take it as trash talking... just my personal opinion or reasoning for not wanting that paticular car.

S2000 - I use to want one real bad... but

1. I look like a fag in one.
2. To make them fast.. you gotta spend a lot of dough...
3. High insurance

WRX

1. If you want to go fast... you might as well opt for the STi or spend a lot of dough on tranny work and what not... not really wanting a WRX.

An older gti or wrx
240 SX
Older Daytonas
1986 Le Baron GTS or Omni GLHS if you find one - old school turboes FTW lol

I don't think a car will matter in that department

Couldn't resist......

Go old school. 1969 Mustang Mach1 or something comparable that you can make into a really sweet ride.

You guys act like 15k is a huge limitation... theres A LOT of cars in that price range that are nice.

Although most RX7s I have seen have been really expensive... if they are in any kinda nice shape.

Almost bought a R32 GTR Skyline ... theres one for sale near my house (registered) with only 20k miles on it for $18,000

if i had 10-15k personally I would probably buy a Jetta Vr6

170hp to the wheels
dont look all that bad
You can mod the shit out of them
leather seats
and they still rock on gas mileage
