Rota D2's 17 8.5 +20

Hello,

Im looking into getting Rota d2's 17", 8.5 wide with a positive 20 offset. My suspension setup is as follows; kyb gr2's on sportlines. Will the wheel stick out too much and hit the inner of my fender (quarter pannel) at the rear? Anyone have pics of 2gns with low offset wheels?

to much of an offset. im running 17x8 with 35mm offset with 5zigens and the front rims stick out just a hair. 20mm offset would look like those low riders with the wheels that stick out like 6inchs outside of the fender well.

not to mention the fact it would need to be on like rubberbands.. the only tire to get under the kybs with an 8.5inch wheel is like 225/30/17 if there is such a thing.. which i dont think there is.. yeah you will need to either get srt struts or tokicos or um not run that wide of a wheel.. a 215 series would just be too stretched out in my opinion

but do to the offset wouldn't the wheel be pushed out enough to clear the kyb's even though they are 8.5 wide? At worst the wheel is available in several different offsets and widths, just thought it would be unique to go with a low offset wheel that lines up with the wheel wells.

otherwise 17X7.5 with 35 offset would mabe be a bitt more realistic
