about 40mins now....

as i read, everyone seems to agree:

a) my stock air box with a drop in K&N filter would have best price to HP gain
b) almost all CAI do the same thing

i'm looking for a CAI, i like the sound and eventually wanna upgrade other things.

so, iceman vs typhoon....

what's soo special about the typhoon? would i see better gains over the typhoon then a iceman?

Good luck finding an iceman. Find one thats cheap, used, free, etc. no point in spending extra money on one.

did you remove the big black resonator box in the fender? that'll give you more of the sound your looking for, or you can just take off the airbox lid and run like that... free noise > $$$ noise

i just took off the stock air box top and with the srt hood it does the same thing more or less

yes i do have the airbox lid removed already, it does sound better.

i did not remove the black resonator box...was thinkin about it

was just curisous if there was an advantage to the iceman as opposed to the typhoon.

they are all about the same, might as well get an ebay cai for 40-50 and save 150$
