Some dumb lady in a minivan.

I described the accident to the cop as: I was 2nd in line at the red light in the left turn lane. I had been sitting long enough to look at my passenger as he was talking, and then glance in the rear view at the minivan barreling into by back end.

She decribed the accident to the cop as: He just stopped out of nowhere!

Like you said, Sean. Time to collect the insurance money, and fix the car the way I see fit.

Damn sorry to hear! At least the damage isn't too too bad (or from that picture it doesn't appear to be). What plans do you have to fix it? Keeping the same bumper? Good luck!

So far, I'm thinking I'm gonna pull off the bumper cover, take off the beam that's destroyed, pull off the trunk lid, and then take a plasma cutter to the floor. Get some aluminum plate, and weld it n. Should save me another 30 lbs too. I'll make some modifications to the bumper cover too, to the tune of big holes to help with aerodynamic drag.

I am glad that, at least the damage is repairable.

I've still got a little bit of a headache. Not sure if it's from drinking last night or my head hitting the aluminum drag seat.

The only thing I'm worried about is the insurance company totalling it, since it doesn't have an interior or anything in it.

Denny was actually in the passenger seat. (Yes, I bolted one in.) Let me tell you something. To hear him say "What the F**K!" was pretty funny. He had my Monster in his hand and it went all over him.
