Help me name my ride

Post by TheRandom1 » Mon May 26, 2008 9:33 pm

I have owned my Neon for 3 years now (bought it with 6k on the clock) and have a few mods done, and within the next couple months will probably be doing another couple big ones...

I realized the other day that in all of this time, I have not named my car, and I kind of feel bad about it.

Any suggestions?

It's an 04, dropped with 1st gen ACR springs, PT Cruiser 16" wheels, bright silver metallic paint, mopar lip kit (er, part of one right now, have to fix some of it) otherwise pretty stock...

Why would you feel bad about not naming your car? That's just silly.

Because, even though I have wanted to get rid of it lately, it's still like a kid to me...

It's like having a little girl or boy, and not naming them for a few years... odd comparison, I know, but still.

I'd rather have a female sounding name, but that actually doesn't sound like a bad one, lol.

Something unique enough it won't be confused in normal conversation. A friend of mine uses the name Ytoabn, why toe-ah bin, for "you think of a better name."

Hmm.. Sean, I have lots of ideas, and nearly all of them are offensive. Just call it Pat. Then the gender thing isn't an issue.

Dodge named your car "Neon". What do you need another name?

IMHO it is very ridicculous to give your car/bike a name.

Imagine an adult who says "I will wash/ride/fix/sell my Mandy/Peter/whatever."

And your car will never come to you when you call it by name like a dog.

I name my cars because they have personality and it is really funny, and nerdy... yes, to discuss your car by its name.

She looks like a Kate / Katie to me.....
