ok so is there any place where i can search for a wheel i like based on offset.. i want a 35mm offset and either 17x7 or 17x7.5 but i want to like the style and alot of big name wheel places dont even list the offset of the wheel...ughhh i hate wheel shopping...

found that site, lets you search by all the info you could want... offset, color, brand, etc also by make model..

why so frustrated.. tons of wheel sites let you search for wheels by make and model so you know it fits... tirerack.com, discounttiredirect.com etc

yes but i have noticed some of these site this is not true.. wheelsnext was giving me some wheels that they say would fit my car but after some investigation they would not unless spacers were added..

so change the offset

if you need spacers, go with a lower offset rating, that'll force the centerline of the wheel outward more, giving you more backside clearance
