My name is Ryan, i'm a 21 yr old college student at the University of Pittsburgh and an avid Chrysler fanatic. My dad is a mechanic at a Chrysler dealership, so naturally we all drive Mopars.
I currently drive a '93 Dodge Spirit which is in good shape, however its starting to need a few things and being that it's 15 years old, and just turned 140k, it's time to upgrade. The obvious car I'm looking for is a Neon. I'm currently looking at '03 to '05 neons, and may have a lead on one if the seller calls me back. I've been lurking here for a while, reading up on different things and just admiring your cars. Ideally I'd like to get a neon and get a mopar lip kit, (already ordered one from moparsupercenter, said 5-8 day backorder, and haven't heard anything else since??) srt-4 wheels, and srt-4 spoiler. I thought I was going to get a set of wheels on eBay last night for $190 but was sniped at the last second of course... so I'm looking for a set of those in good condition. Also, I'd like to do the AAR stripes with "SXT" instead and NEON in front of that crest. However, none of this can happen If I don't find a neon!
So how many members do we have here from the Pittsburgh area??
Welcome to 2GN. I was born, raised and have spent my whole life in Southern California. But, for some strange reason 2 of my favorite sports teams are from Pittsburgh, the Pirates and Steelers.
