Ac Srt-4 SWAP
Hey Hey
Has anybody gotten there AC working after the swap (with a 2000 2002 body)we had ours filled it works but they had to jump it to test it so is there something we missed with the under dash harness swap the only thing we could find is the control for heat to cold was only going about a 1/3 into the blue but we could not see if that would turn on the power to the compressor we are lost

are you using the srt engine bay harness? I'm still working my issues out but the difference i've seen in the a/c side is. 03 to 05 they removed the fin sensor (freeze up control) ,and went with a low pressure cut out that mounts on the expansion block (srt) or on the filter dryer (neon). What sensor did they short to get the a/c clutch to engauge.

i think he is looking for the belt size to use with the a/c compressor not there.
was the a/c an option or standard equipment on the SRT?
if it was an option there should be regular part number for a non A/C belt. but it was standard equipment then you may have to play around to get the right size.
also, does anyone know if the srt uses the same size belts as the non srt. if so then you could also look up the part number for the non a/c equipped ACR's from 2001 and 2002.

^^True, all SRT's did come with A/C, but there is a way to make it A/C delete, I have it setup on my car and it works perfect. You can use a setup with a PT idler pulley and a standard size belt. Check out http://www.speedandpowerdevelopment.com/ they have a kit put together for fairly reasonableDanteneon wrote:All SRTs came with A/C. No delete option. And the 2.0 and 2.4 use different belts.
