Lowering clamps

Have some questions about how to achive better handling and stopping power using different springs, upgrading to coilovers, questions on swaybars, bushings, different rotors, pads, ect... Having any steering problems or questions about steering racks, tie rods, tie rod ends, ect... ask these questions here.

Anybody on this site use those lowering clamps for the neons' strut spring?

Maybe no one that will admit to it. I can't say I recommend it.

It's fine for leaf springs on trucks, but I would be hesitant on a car. It's in the ghetto line of lowering along with cutting or heating up your springs.

It's cause i saw them for like 6 bucks and i was like, hmmmmm that's a good price. But i wouldn't now how much of a drop it would be so i haven't bought them.

if you lower your car for 6 dollars that is terrible.. you get what you pay for.. i just lowered my car and total with shipping and stuff everything came out to around 600 bucks.

yeah i did it and it was easly 600 bucks.thats the only way is to do it right......damn wish i got coilovers tho.... :banghead:
