my passenger side HID bulb seems to be noticably duller then the other...is this a sign that the bulb is going?
also will any replacement bulbs fit?

lol well they dont sell single bulbs really, you can get replacements off ebay for cheap. i have an ebay kit anyways, but its worked mint for over a year now.billm0066 wrote:good luck trying to match it up. Even though they might advertise the same kelvin rating, chances are the color will be different.
i thinking 10000k again...purple would be gay.

Yes any of the bulbs off of ebay will fit. You can get a pair for 34.99 shipped usually. Just make sure you look closely in the pictures to be sure that the connectors on the bulb match up with the connectors on your bulbs. Almost all aftermarket kits use the same harnesses and connectors though.
I wouldn't buy anything over 6,000K personally. I havfe 6,000ks in my stock headlights and 4300ks in my retrofits. Anything above 6,000k and you are drastically comprimising your ability to see at night. The 6,000ks have a very slight purple tint to them, but are a sheer beautiful true white. 5,000ks are a very nice white as well.
Its probably not the ballast, and just that one bulb has worn out faster than the other. Make sure you replace them in pairs, but keep your old ones in case you need to change out a blown one sometime soon.
