Restrictor plate
Restrictor plate
has anyone one ever heard of some one (other then Nascar, and rally) using a restrictor to limit their horse power and increase Torque. A friend of mine has been talking about doing this to his EVO?

why would you want to intentionally get rid of horsepower. EVO's make enough torque. That car will run out of breath on the top end.

stoke the engine = insta torque
i still find it hard to believe that adding a bottleneck will increase torque.
