SFI Approved Flexplate from Howell Automotive
Does anyone know if this piece is worth purchasing or have already purchased and used it. I'm contemplating on buying it because I'm doing a turbo build up on an auto tranny and they say this piece will allow the tranny to take that kind of abuse. Any Advice?

I already realized this...but I just wanted to know if my stock tranny will be able to hold the extra power, it is auto after all...Hudson_Neon wrote:dude, you're not gonna have a 9.99 or faster car. even with the turbo build. my personal opinion... don't waste your money enless you plan on making a strictly drag car.

The trannys aren't that cheap. Atleast not around here they're not. I've seen them as much as $300 for just the transmission..not counting the cables and shifter and other miscellanous items you'd have to get
I can see it being $500 easily, which is nothing really if your tranny is going out. If my ATX dies i'm going to do the swap opposed to getting a new car
