Best Cam to get for 2005 sohc neon

So im stuck between getting the crane cam 12 or 14...I was initially going to get the #12 because I read that it is good for spooling turbo quickly and reduces lag time on MPX's website...but i've read other threads that said #14 works better or is a better choice...Any suggestions??

I have been told that you need fuel managment to pull fuel at idle with the crane 14. The overlap causes the computer to freak out and add fuel.

Check out the comp 200 or comp 400 as well.

i have a 12 in my '04. good cam. barely a differance cause of the NGC, but still a good cam

^ that's an upgrade too...

but nothing against contagious, try to find an '01 mag cam. they're the slightst bit better

I think I remember hearing that the magnum cam is about the same as a Crane 12.

ok so i can use the mag cam and not have to upgrade my valve springs correct? And also any recomendations on cam gears?

DJ...you got any dyno results or 1/4 mile times? I am on my way to where you are and just wondering if you had any numbers...

none takin, yea da 01's better but i didnt want to wait until one came up so i got da 03.

no haven't had time to get to the track...been fixing little problems with the car....right now im waiting on a new front spring bc mine cracked...and i have a new under drive pulley to put on bc i bent mine when i put the head on.

I have mag head with comp 400 cam... 144 whp 126trq... 15.8 1/4, but that was without the cam :lol: So the best time I have with cam is not known yet.

Is that with the DOHC pistons as well? I was figuring I would be around 140-150 with just the P&P mag head decked .03, the mag intake, and the comp 400...
