R/T vs Sxt Bumper

Post by This Ya Boy » Mon Jun 09, 2008 1:37 pm

I was wondering whats the difference between a r/t bumper from the 02 year and a sxt bumper from the same year. To me by the naked eye they look almost identical.

Any pro help would be awesome thanks!

front or rear bumper? the front has a lip that the regular neon did not have, the rear like said above is the exhaust cutouts

I like people who BUY a 10 sec car and then brag about it. Thats like hiring someone to bang your wife and then bragging about the kid

Yep, what they said. The R/T front bumper has a built in lower lip, and the rear bumper has two exhaust cut-outs
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

Me too, but there was something different that I just couldn't place. The someone pointed it out in a different thread, cause, you know, we've got multiple threads on this exact thing.

The '02 uses the same fog lamps as the '01 R/T's.

Easy way to remember it...if the bumper has the built in grille like my sig, it uses the same fogs. If the bumper is flat across with the floating grille, it uses a different fog lamp.
