where to weld O2 bung on magnum header?

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons… just anything that is generally "engine" specific. This also includes questions about exhaust systems such as exhaust manifolds, piping size, mufflers, ect...

where to weld O2 bung on magnum header?

Post by daver » Fri Jun 13, 2008 12:18 am

Anybody have pictures of where they welded an O2 bung to their magnum header for installation in a non-originally magnum application?

I know many individuals have done this, just wondering if anybody has any pics of the precise location on the collector?

Unless someone beats me to it, I'll try to get pics tonight. I have one from ebay I haven't installed yet.

thought I had a pic of the one I sold but I guess not. I had it welded in just in front of the flange on the right side of the header (if it were on the car and you standing at the front bumper looking at it). Or if you want you can put it on one of the runners but I wanted it sampling all 4 runners, not just one.
