A sneak peak at the color matched pillars and mirrors, also a new CF hood .... I ran out of mopar paint, so the mirrors are still primed. I had to install them because I had to get a vehicle inspection tyhe other day..

GODDAMMIT!!!! now iam going to have to paint my B and C pillars!!!! that looks sick as fuck :thumbup: i just need to pick up some more base/clear.hmmm may give that upol clear a shot :rockon:

I asked on srtforums and never got a response, what grit sandpaper did you use to smooth out the mirrors before priming them?
2001 Z06 - VRX3 cam, longtubes, B&B exhaust, RPM trans, CCW Classics, etc etc etc

my bad i didnt even see that....

I used like a 200 and after i primed it I was using 600

Theyre 14 bucks a can at the dealer which is super gay. JMB has them for 8 not including shipping. It might equal to the same thing. They are small cans too. a little bigger than a soda can...

Hmmmm, I like that look, looks great! Can't wait to see the mirrors painted as well. How did you do it, spray can, or paint gun?

I sprayed it with the can... I took my time and did a lot of sanding and re sanding......


I think i may need to hit the pillars one more time with clear though..

did you use any kind of primer on the pillars? I like that a lot, it is REALLY growing on me. As faded and stuff as my pillars are, I may JUST have to do this when I put my car under the knife as well. (Engine rebuild next month, maybe a body overhaul as well :lol:)
