Interior removal

Post by excon » Mon Jun 16, 2008 10:28 am

I was trying to remove my interior B pillars yesterday, but I was unable to because the seat belts were there. Do I have to remove the seat belts using an allen wrench? I'd rather not remove them if I don't have to.

Torx bit size 50 for the front, 55 for the rear (which also removes the seatback). Some cars may or may not be different.

First you've got to pull the cover off of the sliding part. There are two prongs in the back that are a pain if you don't have two screw drivers or a knife or don't just turn the thing sideways. Then get your torx bit and go to work.

I just removed my pillars and reinstalled the seatbelts. Been really lazy lately.
