Those rims are like little crabs...or ten legged spiders... or something.
Rear bumper:
1) prop up the rear end on jackstands
2) pop off both rear wheels
3) remove wheel liners and tail lights
4) 10mm socket or wrench or racheting wrench-a-majigger (basically anything 10mm size will do)
5) should be 3 nuts to tighten on each side, the worst of which is closest to the tail lights. Should also be a metal bracket between the nut and the bumper to help support and prevent nuts from going through the plastic bumper.
6) put everything back together
7) alcohol and staring at your girlfriends...well...you get the point!

Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of the car. Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you're going when you hit the wall, and torque is how far you drag the wall with you.

To lower it I'm guessing? Buy some lowering springs, or springs off a first gen Neon (95-99).
I'm sure someone here is selling a used set of either.

Ah, so you've done some research!DoubtedNeon wrote:but the thing is... i hear that just throwing springs on it will wear out the struts way faster
Yes they will wear out faster but no diiferent than if you just cut or put a torch to the stock ones. Sure you could go the cheap route and do that but you'd seriously compromise your performance. Also you'd be bouncing uncontrollably down the street like a rabbit meth addict.
Not sure how many miles are on your stock struts but chances are they may need replaced soon anyway, just get the springs now and replace the struts when the time comes with a good aftermarket set. The "what brand is better" suspension topic has been covered a gazillion times on here so check it out.
