what should i use to clean my fuel rail. its lookign real grimey. has no shine to it at all. is there a product i can use or a light sand paper? let me know!

If there is a corrosion build up on it, then steel wool or scotch brite may not be a bad idea to start with

I don't see why not. Just make very sure that you don't get any paint inside.

I'd get some fuel resistant paint. And put a piece of tape or something over the injector holes in the rail just because. If you ever have a leak or need to pull the rail, there goes your pretty paint.

Try chrome polish, If need be, go at it with a 3m scuffing pad, or the like before you polish, if it seems to be pretty corroded.
Taking It off of the engine to do this, Would make this job 100 times easier as well...

I used mothers metal polish. Mine looks almost chrome. I did my AC lines too..

MAAS polishing creme works nicely, too. available at any wal mart in the automotive section. out of all of them I like this stuff the best.
