Someone help please with vacuum stuff**

Doing a SRT-4 Motor swap into your Neon, maybe even a 2.4... have questions about it, what you'll need or what issues you'll run into? Answers can be found in here.

Someone help please with vacuum stuff**

Post by Nutmeg » Sun Jun 22, 2008 4:26 pm

Okay, so this is getting pretty old. I'm trying to route some vacuum lines. Well, all of them. I have the diagrams I need, but there are a bunch of various lines as well coming from the firewall area. First...

I took out the black vacuum box for cruise control, but I know have several open vac lines. What should I do about these?

Okay, now on the brake master cylinder, there are three hoses coming off, all attached to one location. Correct me if I'm wrong: one goes to the climate control, one goes to the boost gauge, and one is for the manifold pressure? I'm actually completely lost. What do I do?

I'm sure it's just something simple, but I have a huge headache from this stuff.

Oh, also, there are two big plugs, one from each engine and engine bay harnesses, and then there is a smaller plug coming off near them. I think it's the battery temperature sensor, but I don't have anything on the battery to plug it into. Ideas?

Does anyone know where I can get the little rubber grommet that goes in the cold side pipe for the temp sensor to plug into? I don't have one.

the one that goes through the firewall there is the one for the hvac, the big one is for the manifold. the other could be used for the boost gauge
