That one place. That everyone else gets their shit from. There's links all over the place. But now I can't find them. And I don't think I got a chance to bookmark the page I was on because my friend restarted my computer.

I know Speedhut offers an overlay that is a red gauge face that still lights up red at night. You would be stuck with a red cluster all the time if you went that route.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

No problem. I assume you have been to the site by now? They have a pretty nice build engine that lets you see the gauges during the day and night. Not too expensive either.

I'm guessing you're going to light up the guages red when the secondaries open up? If that's the plan, please write up a howto once you are done. I have been wanting to do that for a while but lack the electrical know-how.

Have you done something like that before? I wouldn't mind a write-up if don't mind spending the time to write one. I'm sure all us R/T guys would appreciate it.

Here is where the idea first came about:

Sweet! Now I just need to decode the best type/location for the LED(s) and I'm good to go.

I wonder if I could use two-color LEDs in the cluster...

EDIT: Do you think that would allow the LEDs to be on the whole time the secondaries are open, or only when they are in the process of opening or closing?

Sweet. I'll be sure to create a HowTo/Log once I get the project nailed down.

Hmmm...bi-colored LED's (Blue and Red) in the tach gauge...normal on blue, then switched to red once the secondary valve kicks on....

That's what I'm thinking, except the blue LEDs I have in there now (ByVampDesign) are shit. I like the idea of my guage cluster turning red with the secondaries. It allows my car to show its true color. Evil!

led's are directional, your going to have to get wide angle LED's or buy 4" neon tubes like i did and throw them inside the cluster
