Yes I LOVE the way that looks. I too dislike all black wheels they look dirty to me. A black wheel needs a lip to show that its meant to be black. Thats just my opinion though, if you like the all black wheels go for it. I think the lip looks killer. I would have done the centercap and lug nuts too.Opi wrote:I'm against paint at this point in time, after all, look what i did to the eyelids.
i want something that'll last longer than paint as well. and are you talking about something like this:

One day i'll buy new rims as well, but I want to buy some damn nice ones though. Because of the weird ass bolt patten (it's 5x110) for cobalts, choices are extremely limited, and often a little expensive. I don't like them a lot, but they're not bad for stock rims I suppose, and the cost of taking off the tires, sand blast, powder coat, and re-mount is a 1/4 of the price of new rims and about 1/2 the price of the steelies I'm purchasing.MyNeonSaysHi wrote:Buy new rims. Do what I did. HAve a set of summer tires with summer tread and a set of crappy wheels with winter tread. I see you like the stockers a lot, so maybe you can get a set of steelies for winter with good tread. Not fun having to swap out tires or use all seasonal tires while your nice rims get dirty/chipped.
