New Interior Installs

Post by DouglasSXT » Sat Jun 28, 2008 5:34 pm

Just finished with installing some new SpeedHut overlays for the HVAC and the main cluster. While I was playing with wires, I put in some LED interior lights by the front and rear seats... And I HATE wiring crap, something always goes wrong for me. :( As you can see in a few of the pics, I still need to tuck some of the wires up out of the way.

Hope you like...

Not my style but looks good nonetheless. Where exactly did you mount the LEDs in the rear?

Do you have a toggle switch or something for the floor lights? I'm sure that would get really annoying really quick. Especially if you were out with a certain female friend trying to enjoy the stars or stay hidden or something.

Yup, they are below the rear seats and I do have them so I can turn them on and off... Same with the overlays, they have a dimmer switch as well and I can turn them on and off as I please.

Main reason I got the overlays was because I've been blowing LED's in the main gauge cluster or they come loose and don't light up. So I'm hoping this will be the last time I have to take the dash apart for awhile.
