Hmm, a friend just picked up a 2003 Jetta 1.8T 5 speed for $7,000 that is in amazing shape and had all invoices of previous servicing that was done according to schedule.

Roughly half the price of this SRT you are looking at except it has 166,000k (~105,000 miles) on it. Even with that mileage most vehicles these days if properly maintained have plenty more life in them.

Keep in mind, the 03 does not have the LSD in the tranny. From what I understand... the SRT's need it.
