Havent been on in about a year, so I thought Id start over.

Have an 03 SE that WAS a show car until my girlfriend got a hold of it, now its a purple beast...

Just recently bought an 02 SE with all options, was only able to snag my CF hvac bezel from the purple power girlie flaming Neon lol

Live in the Midwest Michigan area, may or may not do to this Neon what I did to the last. My stepdad and I have been working on a Hydrogen injection project for a while now. Got a 3/4 ton Ford truck to 22mpg from 10, and a Buick Roadmaster to 31mpg from 18. Hoping the two neons will hit 50-60 mpg

Only pics so far, the 02 has snowflakes, I may get them powdercoated as I dont much like Silver wheels on a silver car. We'll see, maybe graphite with the sides of the "spokes" machined.

Anyways, good to be back so far. Seeing tons of people with lip kits, apparently that's the new thing? lol

Dang you're pretty close to me. I'm in the Jenison area right now; I'll be back in Flint in 2 weeks though. Ever go to any shows in GR? I've been looking for some to check out, but I can't find any.

I may or may not be at Carlisle, probably not, but some of my ASEC (Avenger/Sebring) friends keep pushin it >.<

I havent actually gone to any GR shows, we do a little more local (Montcalm and Ionia County stuff), but we do occasionally hit nearby Nopi's and HIN events. There is a nice show that Grand Valley Univ. puts on, but I think it already happened. The Burn Victim Survivor Benefit show in GR at Comstock Park is always a blasty though!!

Since my 03 showcar's purple fall from grace, I havent been to too many shows. I can update you on local stuff though if you'd like.

Nice to "meet" the others as well

Man that car was clean.... so why did u give it to ur girlfriend?? im just curious cause work like that takes time and money and to just give it away seems wierd.

Money can be replaced, but time i wanted to spend elsewhere. She had a GTP and was going to school like 58 miles away 5 days a week, premium gas + fat inefficient supercharged car+ that kind of mileage = a pain in my butt. She wanted to get "into" cars with me too, and I had just bought a 240sx. So i told her id paint it whatever she wanted, thus the stupid House of Kolour purple. She's saving up for a lip kit in a round about way now, she finally bought tokicos for it since i had sold my coilovers, and wants to lower it next.

ka24de rebuilt beefy and bored .050 over (I believe it was enough to bring it almost up to a 2.5L if only i could lengthen the stroke another mm or two). Had spun a few bearings and wanted to just rebuild oem, but we needed to either bore and sleeve the cylinders, or bore and fill it with piston, i choose the later

Ran 198 compression across all 4 cylinders, and was a BEAST to drive the very little I got to even though it was still NA. Easily would outrun my friends '03 GTI on like 16lbs of boost.

Valve seals went out on it shortly after (of course, the only seals/gaskets we didnt replace because we didnt have the tool to do it). So it sits now for sale and for some reason noone has bitten. Only trying to get $2000 for it and I have the seals, just no ambition to continue. 92 S13 with less rust underneath it than ive seen on Koukis lol No exterior rust either. It's a shame really because i know how ridiculous it is to find an S13 with so little rust.
