Well, Gramps bought himself a shiny new Mopar BOV, so I decided I needed one too. We all know how much I LOVE the pshhhhh sound they make.
Yeah, and then you can get a personalized plate that says "SNEEZY"!

Well, new parts showed up today and I installed them. Fucking post office needs an ass whipping however.

I swapped taillights with Crystal, a set of her niteshaded stockers for my 3d ones that I haven't liked for a while now. However, when the box showed up today, the assholes seem to have played some hockey with it, as the box was FUBARd and the lights broken. Not broken enough to not work, just enough that it will irritate me a little bit... I'm positive it's the Post Office's fault because I saw pics of the lights before she shipped them and they were perfect. Plus the shards of broken taillight are in the box. Fucking bastards! Without further ado, here are the pics:

wow... that's bullshit.

honestly, I think I liked the painted ricer lights on your car better. I'm not a fan of super dark tails.

These really aren't that dark. I know my pics aren't great (cameraphone FTW?) but it's not bad.

I think they look way better even though I do like 3D tails myself. I'm rather livid at the post office right now though.

You're tellin' me, sister! If I thought it'd do any good, I'd go down there and give them a piece of my mind. However, I think going in and shitting myself would have a MUCH more profound effect...

And it could be more entertaining.

3 more payments (and some late fees to settle on) and this fucker is FINALLY mine.

Payoff date (minus late fees) is scheduled March 29, 2011. God help me I cannot wait for that date.

Once the car is paid off, I plan on doing some maintenance (2 new rear tires, tie rod that's bad and I'm too lazy to replace, armrest replacement, little things) but I don't have any plans just yet for any real mods. Perhaps I'll do something, perhaps not, we'll see.

Well, last payment is pushed a little bit since the tie rod is about to let go. Apparently plowing through snow isn't so good for it. Tie rod replacement scheduled for today/tomorrow now, and we'll see what else is wrong now.

Tie rod, alignment and oil change 105 bucks. Pretty happy about that.

Best part is that there's no more clunk in the steering at all! Sadly they melted all the snow off the car.

Yes, it made me very happy to have that fixed. Also, apparently my rear alignment was WAY off and I don't know how the heck it got that way. Oh well, all fixed now.

Passenger side rear tire has a -1.2 degree camber reading.

Oh, and my drivers front strut is blown. I kind of figured that since it was sagging and the ride is getting more and more bouncy.

I suppose it's about time to look into... "other options" for suspension.

Seriously? It's well out of spec for a stock Neon.

Megans are pretty much BC version 1's. Thats what alot of people run with no problems. Ryan has them.

I'm going to look into BC version 2's when I go to buy mine.
Modernperformance gives a nice little breakdown on which to buy on their site.

(Kyle, I'm not actually asking, I'm just whoring out my thread a little bit... I can't afford new parts for a few months yet)
