I appreciate the help and will forget your response when I'm actually ready to replace the leaking struts with something better.
Or I'll sell the car and never look back. Either way.
Hm... I should go for a drive, see how much nicer the newly fixed steering is. I just don't have anywhere to go.

It's OK Sean, I got where you were going with that.
And if it's a road trip you are looking for, there is that idea you had about my penis and your ass...

If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

I'm just teasing ya buddy. I would blame the roof rack for the crash.
Oh, BTW...
I'm using Barum Bravuras 2 all seasons and had absolutely no problems in the snow on Tuesday when we got nailed with 17" of snow. Just an FYI for those who claim you cannot drive in snow without snow tires, I just proved them wrong... if you know what you're doing and have a decent set of tires (mine were cheap as hell) you can drive in snow fairly easily.

I'm surprised the roof rack didn't break. It buckled the roof under it in places, and popped one of the screws out of the roof.
And yea, this is the first time I've ever used snow tires. Have always been fine without them. Hell, I wrecked with the snow tires lol.

Neither had I, but they were cheap and my old Dunlops on the front were trashed last summer. I drove for about 3 months on an alignment that was WAY off due to having the drivers side tie rod replaced without having the alignment done.
So I bought the cheapest tires I could for the front and I'm still using the old Dunlops on the rear (I know I know) and I've had no issues at all.
I got these tires from discount tire BTW.

Well, tie rod was done all was well... and today I'm about 90% sure my left rear wheel cylinder went out. Brake light came on, I have brakes but the pedal slowly goes to the floor and fluid is leaking out of the left rear wheel.
So, that's great.

112 out the door and the brakes are all fixed.
Had another guy tell me my rear brake shoes were "extremely worn" and were "definitely the original ones" and had to be replaced or I would die. OK, the last part is a slight exxageration, pretty sure he didn't say "die."
The hilarious part about that? The rear shoes have 5K miles on them... no way in hell those suckers were that bad.

Car started throwing a P0344 code today... less than a year after I just replaced the friggin Cam Position Sensor. Looks like I'm forking more ass-cash out for another one of these damn things tomorrow.

Nah, it'll be upstairs in my file box like everything else. I would have had it still, but i cleaned a bunch of old stuff out and determined I did not need that receipt anymore.
Odd that I just did that last weekend.
