Which Headlights should I get?

Post by 2005.Neon.SXT » Wed Jul 09, 2008 6:56 pm

I know it ultimately comes down to what I think because it's my car, but I just wanna hear some input from you guys considering my car color and what would go good. I'm going with a black housing on either choice since my car's a dark color, and price isn't an issue. Also, if you wanna input what kinda taillights would match well, that'd be cool too!

Thanks :D

Aside from the retros, the projectors suck ass. Stick with black housing...looks much better.

I personally think both will look great on your car. I would go with the projectors if I had the cash. :)

No sir, just going off the way they look and the fact that a lot of people have them now.

another thing to add as far as which headlights to get, I heard that the projectors are a bit different shaped than the stock headlights. Is that true? Will eyelids still fit? I may just go with black housing stock headlights if the eyelids going to be difficult to put on.

Eyelids will fit, but you'll have to take a heat gun to them and bend them a little bit, then get them to stay that way. Vinyl will work, but who the fuck wants stickers on his car? You'll probably have really good luck with shorty eyelids, but IMO they're not as good looking as the S-styles. But yeah, get a heat gun, press that shit on there and cool it down.

The projectors have a "bubble" that pops out of the lens right in front of the projectors. I don't really mind the looks of either one, its all personal preference as you said. As for tails I would go with stock nightshaded w/the exception of the reverse light. :) (I'm biased here, also biased to retrofits but that wasn't an option).

Retrofits are expensive. And the stock tails are...I dunno. Jury is still out on them. They're recognizable, though. And makes the car look tired.

They are expensive, but they look badass and the light output it second to none. I love my stock tails, in person they look badass.
