pt cruiser engine

ok iv been looking all over the place for srt-4 motor and transmissions, but i forgot that the pt-cruiser has the same motor. my question is. if i bought the pt cruiser motor what all would i need to run it in my 04 neon.
do they make a 5 speed tranny for it?
and if i went with the pt motor would the srt-4 computer and engine bay harness work, like would i have to get that harness and computer to run it right for my car?

Well, I'd try to find someone that has an SRT-swap, minus the motor, and then buy a block from a Turbo PT, or a PT GT.

PT motor is not the same. It's missing the piston oil squirters for one. It's a little different on the internal stock specs also.

Theres somebody on the srtforums that blew thier srt motor and bought a gt pt cruiser motor and used all his srt wiring and srt ecu. And is running ok. Its been over a year. do a search over there though. Only certain years of the pt gt work.
