Debadging?
I know how to debadge my car, but i am wondering if I am going to like it. I am def. considering taking off the "dodge" and the "neon" off my trunk, and the "SE" on the back doors. I am unsure if I want to take off the "dodge" on the front doors, along with the trim piece that runs front to back. what do u guys think? does anyone have some before and afters shots? i want to figure out if taking the trim off is something i want to do or not.
here is my car:

Here is a link to pics of a CG neon that has been debadged and has the side molding removed. It's Neonix's 2gn.

yeah it was weird, the bubbles were right underneath where the bottom strip of adhesive tape was, my dad is having some front end work done to his car (tree fell on it), so my dad is going to talk to his friend and see what he can do, i hope that if i get the trim off and clean off the adhesive, he can just sand down the bubbles and tpuch it up. he has painted a few of my dads cars before, so hopefully he wont charge too much. but im relieved to hear that other people have this problem too. i did have a little bit of fading underneath the badges, but u can only barely see it in some angles, but you really have to look for it, overall i am happy with it. tomorrow it gets lowered!

Thanks. I can do little stuff like that without a problem... Ask me to put a kit on a car? That's Diablo0, there.dblsg wrote:somebody is becoming an expert with photoshop...... great job 03
Yeah, there's some people that don't have the problem and more that do. I was quite upset when I saw those damn things when I pulled the wing off. I'm going to assume they're under my moulding stripes as well.scneonchic501 wrote:for some reason, mine never bubbled up...it took a while to get all the tape off the doors and everything, but no bubbles. the paint wasnt faded or anything either. maybe i just got lucky?

I had itty bitty bubbles on mine that are only noticeable if you put your face right up to the car. paintballah are you really 43? I seem to think you are much younger. Anyhow, taking the side molding off was a bitch and took like 3 hours. But it came off clean after the adhesive remover.
