bumper removal

how do i get the rear bumper off my 00?

Theres 3 bolts by the rear wheels. Just take off your fender shield and follow the groove. You should feel 3 bolts on each side (10 mm). Then the 4 screws on top underneath the trunk lid. Phillips head those off and just pull

no... but the last time i tried, i got lost underneath the car and started messing with the exhaust... lol dunno why, but i did... thanks guys.

It might help to remove the exhaust since u'll probably be fidgeting with the bumper, and you'll need space in that area.

no i just was messing with the bumper, and started trying to tighten my exhaust so it didnt sag... so like i said i got distracted.

i ran out of time today, plus it was hot as fuck. so i made a custom grille instead.

i'll try tomorrow.

i got the bumper off. there are actually 4 bolts. 3 from teh bottom, and one from the top. the reverse lights are wired up. the grill is done. the LEDs are ready to be started next.....
