Damn you actually found one?

+1 for stupid idea, money better spent on finding a hood. The weight savings aren't worth it. Take out your huge ass subs for that!

Lid is on the car now. You know, for being a CBD trunk lid...and especially for being a B-grade lid...it fits quite well...lil more work and i could get it perfectly lined up.

:withstupid: The fit is surprisingly good. I am also of the opinion that CF should be painted. It's great as a weight saving component, but looks horrible (and played out) IMHO. Sorry Joe :(

Glad to hear you are going body color on it

i intend on it :-D

i also dropped off my new srt rear calipers at a local powder coater today... $120 for them both flat black, including disassembly(i couldnt get the pistons out since they were never on the car)

i'm prolly gonna drop off some more parts before he gets started since he's got a few big jobs to do before he does my calipers...

I'm getting a set of control arms from SlvrACR, and I need to get a battery tray, k-member, and trans mount bracket, need to get those coated, and i need an SRT steering rack.

Once i have all that done and taken care of, I'll do the brake swap.

I'll keep yall posted.

I know you have insurance and that's what its for, but damn man. Do you really want someone violating your car like that?

Also, are you gonna sell that enclosure that you had just built for the trunk now?

well, i'm basically winging most of it as i go...

i do know the box will be ported....because of its size i have no choice otherwise. I'm most likely going to glass the top of it as well so that the subs can be angled instead of just facing straight up...

the amprack will be a 3pc installation, which will sit where the back cushion would be w/ the folding seats...that will be started after i know for sure what the box is going to look like...

in the trunk, i'm going to put a full size spare tire, so i'm going to need to build a false floor high enough to house the spare.

Everything will be carpeted. I'm not a big fan of painted fiberglass systems.

As for the audio aspect, i'm going to reuse my niche titanium series 12" subs and my 2 niche amps, a 4ch for my highs and a 2ch for the subs.

Other than that, i dunno.....nothing is completely set in stone besides the port and the equipment, lol
