so i have an 00 with the 3 speed atx transmission and when i checked the fluid the other day it was pretty gross. So i decided i should probably change it. Im just wondering what i need besides filter, fluid and i believe a gasket aswell.
also i've read mixed opinions on doing it, some people say it causes slips and others say its like a new tranny.

As per DC this is a maintenance item for every 2 years or 30,000 miles.
Your fluid may have gone brown which isn't necessarily bad. When was the last time it was changed?
