does anyone no if radar detectors are legal in ohio?

yes, they are. any questions about state laws can EASILY be found on their respective websites

:withstupid: check with your state, also check about laser shifting.

you are allowed to block laser in most states since laser is regulated by the FDA and not the FCC.

if you goto escort's site they will also give you information on the legalities and the restrictions on both radar and laser which may help you get out of a ticket

The only places they're illegal in the states are Virginia and Washington D.C.

They're also illegal in commercial vehicles in all 50 states.

unless things have changed in the last year or 2 they are illegal in PA as well.

They can be viewed as "obstruction of view" if mounted in the mounted of you're window so place it out of blatant view (above you're rear view mirror flush with you're dash. alot of people will say they got pulled over for the radar but really they just got it for obstruction of view.
