I guess telling someone to screw back on the oil filter means to tighten it as much as possible even tho its cross threaded and only on 1/4 means its on.

so my sister managed to not change her oil since this winter. So i had had it and i had her buy mobil extended performance so she wouldn't ahve to change the oil for some time. I also had him changed the oil. He wanted to know how so i told him from up top while he did the work under neath. I feel a bit guilty for not checking everything visually instead of asking him what he did and how it looked.

the car is fine thank god, i guess mobil 1 is pretty good at reducing friction when there barley is any.

Why would you even begin to think that the filter was okay? I mean even if you don't know jack about anything you should be able to tell that its not ON properly. Strange.....very strange. At least the car's okay.

How much oil did he end up losing? Hope it doesn't hurt the motor down the road.

I read this post like 4 times and I still have no idea what you're talking about, at all.
